One of the most common questions we get from clients is what to expect when the roofers show up. This is a great question as you will want to know how the process works. So read on if you are about to have your roof repaired or replaced by our Vancouver roofing contractors.
When the Kanga Roofing crew shows up, they assess the best way to do your project from start to finish. Examples of what may be included in our initial assessment are which section to start first, and how to best protect the home, plants, and shrubbery. We will also confirm the power source and address any unique concerns pertaining to your project.
EXPECT A MESS…AND NOISE!
Although the presence of a dumpster takes care of most of the mess, there will still be some debris coming of the roof. Luckily, tarps catch most of it and our dedicated crew cleans up the rest so your property looks as if we haven’t even been there…except of course for the presence of your beautiful new roof! Rest assured that our crew will show the utmost respect for your property, including plant life, gardens and shrubbery surrounding your home.
Don’t forget about the noise: air compressor, roofing nailers, hammers, saws, you name it! Please accept that this is part of the deal. After all, there can’t be a roof replacement or repair without noise. When the roof is complete, our reliable team performs a clean-up so that you’re left with nothing but a beautiful roof.
HOW LONG WILL MY ROOF PROJECT TAKE?
Residential projects generally take 2 to 4 days to complete, depending on factors such as weather and unexpected existing roof problems that are discovered after your old roof has been removed. Commercial projects can take longer due to sheer size and application process.
COMMUNICATION IS KEY
Most importantly, don’t assume! If you have a question or concern, do not hesitate to discuss things with the roofers. We are a friendly, respectful crew and in the end, your satisfaction is what matters most!
We hope we have answered your question on what you can expect when our roofers show up. If you have any other questions about our services, contact us today and we’ll be happy to answer your questions or concerns.
